Our extensive experience in the design of outdoor RF transceivers led to the LPOD family of BUC products’ efficient thermal and mechanical package. Recognizing the evolution of L-Band IF systems, the LPOD is designed to eliminate the traditional requirement for the modem to supply a DC power source and a 10 MHz reference to the BUCs and LNBs. The LPOD’s optional internal reference and LNB bias T greatly simplify multi-carrier operation and provide cost-effective redundant solutions. Featuring an internal power supply, internal reference, and internal LNB bias capability, the LPOD units offer very cost effective solutions for 1:1 redundant Tx and 1:1 redundant Rx requirements. And, the compact size and weight make the units ideally suited to installations with limited mounting space. |

Offering the same superior performance as our indoor amplifiers, the HPOD series of C-, X-, and Ku-Band Solid-State Power Amplifiers provide a cost effective, more reliable replacement for TWT amplifiers in satellite communications terminals. We offer field replaceable power supplies for our HPOD units, effectively minimizing a limiting MTBF factor in electronic equipment. The design provides conservative thermal performance using forced air-cooling for extreme environments. These are available with an internal reference and require no DC power from the modem. This greatly simplifies multi-carrier and redundant operation. |

A unique, outdoor multi-band RF transceiver, the MBT-4000 performs C-, X- or Ku-Band to L-Band down conversion and L-Band to C-, X-, or Ku-Band up conversion. Band-specific Block Up or Block Down Converters are fastened to the base unit with quick-release fasteners. To change operating bands, simply release the quarter turn hasps and replace the blocks with new units. The rugged construction of the MBT-4000 is ideal for mobile and transportable applications. For a lower cost solution, the MBT-4000B performs L-Band to C- or Ku-Band up conversion and supports an LNB for C- or Ku-Band to L‑Band down conversion.
Both of these products eliminate the requirement for DC or 10 MHz from the modem. This facilitates multi-carrier and redundant systems. |

As an integrated, single thread SCPC VSAT system, the DST-C meets the needs of single and/or multiple site installations. The DST-C system has three major components:
-
BUC – weatherproof unit including an integral L-Band up converter and amplifier
-
Low Noise Block Converter (LNB) – low noise receive element with an L-Band interface
-
Indoor Unit – complete, variable data rate modem with a high stability reference

The DST-Ku parallels the functionality of the DST-C, except it supports Ku-Band. |

The LCSA-4 combines and splits signals for L-Band modems and operates as a redundancy controller for RF switches located at the antenna. |
