The CDM-710G High-Speed Satellite Modem provides transmission of data using the same powerful DVB-S2 techniques developed for video delivery in Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) applications. It operates over satellite links with programmable symbol / data rates up to 45 Msps.

A key application for the CDM-710G is the transmission of non-transport stream data over links using popular telco and network interfaces:
  • CDI-10-1 G.703 at E3/T3/STS-1 data rates
  • CDI-60 HSSI data interface up to 70 Mbps
  • CDI-70 Gigabit Ethernet over all data rates

Media Router 6000

In a single platform, the Media Router 6000 functions as a satellite receiver, combiner, filter and video to IP router. As a receiver, the Media Router 6000 enables the reception of Digital Video Broadcast – Satellite (DVB-S) and DVB-S2 transport streams and IP-based multimedia (video, audio and data) content to be delivered over satellite or high-speed ASI links and distributed to remote devices. Supporting multi-protocol encapsulation (MPE) and Moving Picture Expert Group-2 (MPEG-2) TS (Transport Stream), the Media Router 6000 facilitates standard data broadcasts, as well as the transport of MPEG-2 video service over IP.

LPOD C- or Ku-Band Block Up Converter
Recognizing the evolution of L-Band IF systems, the LPOD is designed to eliminate the traditional requirement for the modem to supply a DC power source and a 10 MHz reference to the BUCs and LNBs. The LPOD’s optional internal reference and LNB bias T greatly simplify multi-carrier operation and provide cost-effective redundant solutions.
